Scheme Objective:
To promote pursuit of higher education and technical education by younger population of Goa, to ensure that economic conditions and financial difficulties do not come in the way of such pursuit and, to assist eligible candidates by way of interest free loans to undertake approved degree and diploma courses at undergraduate and post graduate levels, in India or abroad.

The Goa Education Development Corporation is pleased to announce the Interest Free Education Loan (IFEL) Scheme for the academic year 2025-26.
1. The Application forms for the IFEL scheme 2025-26 (Fresh) to be submitted online through Chief Minister Scholarship Portal https://cmscholarship.goa.gov.in/. The applicants shall fill the form online and upload the relevant documents. click here
2. The IFEL Renewal 2025-26 forms are available for download below. The applicants shall download the Renewal form, fill in the details, attach the requisite documents and submit the duly filled application on working days in the GEDC office between 10.00 am to 12.00 pm. and 3.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m.
The last date for submission of Fresh and Renewal application forms along with the requisite documents is 27/02/2026.

In case of students studying abroad, the Power of Attorney holder (parent) may fill the form as per the norms and submit within the stipulated duration as mentioned above
